About Lowder Steel

Our Story

Lowder Steel, Inc. was founded to support the growing demand for reliable, high-quality structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication. Building on decades of experience in commercial construction, the company was established with a clear purpose: deliver steel packages that are accurate, coordinated, and executed without surprises.

In 2018, Lowder Steel achieved AISC Certification, reinforcing our commitment to nationally recognized quality standards. Today, we work in close coordination with general contractors, developers, and owners to provide Division 5 solutions that keep projects moving forward.
We are not a decorative metal shop. We specialize in carbon steel structural framing and miscellaneous steel that supports the building itself — fabricated and managed in-house with accountability at every stage.

Lowder Steel’s management team is composed of experienced professionals with backgrounds in fabrication and erection. The company has over 50 years of combined experience, ensuring a skilled team capable of managing both small and large projects efficiently from the shop to the Field.
